Meet the Composer

Have you ever heard a piece of music and wondered what the composer was really like? In this series of five, hour-long concerts, we will take a trip through history with pieces by five of the most beloved composers of all time: J.S. Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. As you listen to a mix and familiar favorites and works that are perhaps new to you, you will also hear charming vignettes from each composer’s life, hints about the meaning of individual works, and reflections on what each composer means to the modern world.
